Welcome Message

I like solving problems, and trying to figure out what's wrong when a computer or software is not working the way it should. Although some people find this frustrating, I actually enjoy it. I like computer programming because it involves solving problems, and designing and building. I also enjoy teaching and working with people with physical disabilities. I like the sense of accomplishment and the opportunity to help people that goes with both these activities. I also like working outdoors, especially in the wilderness. If I wasn't going to teach or work with computers I think I would like a job such as "Park Warden". Part of a warden's job in the national parks in the Rockies is to take week-long horseback patrols of the back-country. This is the kind of thing I would do on a vacation. I think any job is great when I am being paid for things I enjoy.
